BUT
you only have 10kg luggage allowance.
so i guess it would be silly to bring the swimming costume you had when you were 10 years old right?
and you defiantly wouldn't bring your winter coat to the bahamas?
and surely you wouldn't carry someone else's baggage if you only had 10kg?
you wouldn't even dream of bringing rubbish from you're kitchen bin in your suitcase right?
exactly. so why do you insist on weighing you're mind with all this junk if you wouldn't even put it in your suitcase.
unless you haven't gathered by now i'm not really taking you on holiday i'm just trying to show you how much our thoughts are weighed down by things we don't need.
like your swimming costume from when you were 10... that's the past. we worry SO much about what has happened to us in the past that we don't realize its not relevant anymore and the only person who it's affecting is ourselves, it just plain silly. i'm not saying forget your past or pretend it didn't happen. i'm just saying deal with it and make sure it never gets in your way or makes you feel a certain way again. how can you move forward and go on holiday if you're carrying weight you don't need?
that winter coat? that's worry. how many times do we worry about things that MIGHT happen. i know i do this daily. yes things might go wrong, but what if they don't? you just stressed yourself out for no reason. it's like me saying....i'm never going outside because i might get bitten by a dog and turn into a werewolf. stop being a cautious carol and be a brave ben! you get what you expect, so if you expect the worst... guess what you're gonna get?
for the love of candyfloss PLEASE stop carrying other people weight around. gosh you people love to worry about other people be it good or bad. 'did you know shes doing this' ' did you know shes doing that' 'ohh i can't be happy because he's not' 'ohh i cant move on because that person's like this'. If you are this person spray yourself in the eye with perfume. worrying about someone else isn't going to change anything for their life, its just going to make yours harder. people make their own choices. they didn't ask you when they had that cheeseburger and now they're over weight and they sure didn't ask you when they had sex with that man and now they're pregnant. so it's not for you to worry. all you can do is be there for them when they need you're advice or shoulder but you can't make their decisions for them. so if god has given you something to be thankful for. take it! and don't look back.
and the rubbish. that's the gossip, rumors and negativity people like to bring to your doorstep. if someone handed you rubbish on the street would you take it into you're home? no you wouldn't. so why do you let it into your mind. you need to remember the more successful you become the more people want to bring you down. its the sad truth. people don't like to see other people succeed. so next time someone comes to you with sh*t. leave it at the door. don't think about it. don't talk about it. don't even acknowledge it to be slightly true because if you give it value it will ruin you're progress. if you choose to give rubbish value...you're taking value away from yourself.
99% of the thoughts we have are repeat thoughts. imagine if you had the power of a clear mind...
xoxo
